It's official. I can legally leave the country! (I'm pretty excited about that). :)
Just an update to all my friends and family:
* I'm leaving June 16th and will arrive in Athens on June 17th at 8:30 PM.
* My classes start June 19th, which means...
* I will be spending one full day and two nights ON MY OWN in Athens!!
* I'm staying with fellow named George Z. (the guy from airbnb.com that is letting me rent his spare room)
* My classes are over on July 9th.
* I will return on July 18th which means...
* I will be spending another 9 days in Athens ON MY OWN!!! :) It's going to be a blast.
I don't have any arrangements made for those 9 days at this point. It will be a true European backpacking experience... (hopefully not a backpacking disaster!)
Wish me luck! Oh, and I'm still fundraising for my trip. Everything is essentially paid for EXCEPT my living expenses while I'm there... still trying to figure that all out. :S
